This salad features our Olive Wood Smoked Olive Oil and Strawberry-Kiwi Rosé Balsamic, and complements any summer BBQ with its bright, fresh, and smoky flavours. Serving 6-8 people, this is a quick and easy meal to bring to a family gathering or to compliment your home BBQ spread. Best served alongside your favourite barbecued meat, fresh corn on the cob, and whatever seasonal vegetables you have on hand!

Ingredients

For the Dressing

2 Tbsp Olive Wood Smoked Olive Oil
2 Tbsp Strawberry Kiwi Rosé Balsamic
1 Tsp Grainy Dijon Mustard
Salt and Pepper (to taste)

For the Salad

2 Large Handfuls of each: Spinach, Arugula and Mixed greens
1/2 Cup Candied Walnuts or Pecans (recipe here)
2/3 cup Crumbled Feta (or goat cheese)
2 Tbsp Red Onion (diced)
1 Cup Strawberries (fresh, sliced thin)

Directions

Combine ingredients in a small jar and shake well to combine.
Add all salad ingredients to a large bowl, pour over the dressing, and toss to combine.

Recipe Note

For a less smoky version, substitute 1 Tbsp of pure Ultra Premium Olive Oil for the Olive Wood Smoked Olive Oil.
