Portuguese Olive Harvest 2025

Each September, the olive harvest begins in at our partner's estate in the Ribatejo Region of Portugal, and the 2025 early harvest was an exciting one. Olives were picked starting September 22, among the very first oils produced in the country this season. Early harvesting captures olives at peak freshness, resulting in greener, more vibrant oils.

This harvest produced several standout oils, including unique expressions of Cobrançosa, shaped by soil and growing conditions. Overall, the oils from this season are notably fresh, green, and expressive.

One highlight from the harvest is the rare Lentisca variety, known for its bold flavour and exceptionally high natural antioxidants. Produced in very limited quantities, it’s one of the most anticipated oils of the season.
