Indulge in the bold and vibrant flavours of this addictive snack mix, expertly crafted by Robin Gallant for Nelson Olive Oil Co. We challenged Robin to incorporate our July 2024 featured products, Jalapeño Fused Olive Oil and Key Lime Balsamic Vinegar, into her recipe. Our Habanero Olive Oil can replace the Jalapeño EVOO in this recipe.

The result? A tantalizing mix of spices and textures that's perfect for any occasion. This Spicy Lime Nuts & Bolts is a super option for party snacks, game nights, or just casual munching.

    • 2 cups peanuts

    Directions

    1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 250°F (120°C).
    2. Prepare Sauce Mix: In a medium bowl, combine the melted butter, NOOC Jalapeno Fused Olive Oil, NOOC Key Lime Balsamic Vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, lime zest, chopped cilantro, garlic powder, Cajun spice, chili powder, and cayenne pepper. Mix well to create a flavorful sauce.
    3. Combine Snack Mix: In a large mixing bowl, add the Shreddies, Crispix, pretzels, Goldfish crackers, cheese nibs, cheese sticks, and peanuts. Gently mix the ingredients together.
    4. Mix with Sauce: Pour half of the prepared sauce mix over the snack mix and stir gently to coat. Taste and adjust the spice level by adding more sauce as needed.
