Our Basil Infused Olive Oil brings a fresh, aromatic twist to this soft, tender pound cake, perfectly balanced with a sweet strawberry kiwi balsamic drizzle.
¾ cup Basil Olive Oil
1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
3 eggs
1 cup of sugar (can also go low as ¾ cups of sugar)
¾ cup milk of choice (or Greek yogurt for richer texture)
1 tsp vanilla extract
Fresh strawberries, sliced
Strawberry Kiwi Rosé Balsamic
Optional: light drizzle of Basil Olive Oil
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
In a separate bowl, beat eggs and sugar until light and slightly thickened.
Fold in dry ingredients until just combined (do not overmix).
Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 45–55 minutes, until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
Let cool completely before slicing.
