  • 4 ripe pears (halved and cored)

  • ¼ cup chopped walnuts (or almonds)
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • A pinch of ground cinnamon
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

  1. Roast the Pears: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Place pear halves cut side up on a baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle with cinnamon. Roast for 25-30 minutes until tender and caramelized.

  2. Prepare the Glaze: In a small saucepan, heat the Pomegranate Dark Balsamic over medium heat. Add honey or maple syrup and simmer for 5 minutes until slightly thickened.

  3. Toast the Nuts: Toast walnuts (or almonds) in a dry pan over medium heat for 3-5 minutes until fragrant and golden.
  4. Assemble the Dessert: Place roasted pears on a plate, drizzle with the balsamic glaze, and sprinkle with toasted nuts.
  5. Garnish & Serve: Add fresh mint leaves for a pop of colour. Serve warm or at room temperature.
