Garlic & Espresso Baked Brie

Ingredients

  • 1 Small Wheel of Brie (Approximately 200g)

  • 2 TBSP Garlic Infused Olive Oil
  • 1 TBSP Espresso Dark Balsamic
  • 1 Small Baguette (sliced ½-inch rounds and toasted)

  • Fresh Apple or Pear Slices (for serving)

  • 1 tsp Fresh Thyme (chopped)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place the brie on a parchment-lined baking sheet or small oven-safe dish. Score the top rind of the brie in a crisscross pattern to allow flavours to penetrate. Drizzle evenly with Garlic Infused Olive Oil and Espresso Dark Balsamic.

  3. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the brie is soft and just beginning to ooze, but not completely collapsed.
  4. While the brie bakes, toast the baguette slices in the same oven for 5 minutes until lightly golden, or until crisp.

  5. Remove from oven. Transfer baked brie to a serving plate and surround with toasted baguette slices and fresh apple or pear slices. Sprinkle thyme leaves on top, then serve immediately! Enjoy :)
